💳 Licensing & Billing
Noted runs on a seat-based subscription, billed monthly through Stripe.

| Base plan | $300/month, includes up to 12 seats |
| Additional seats | $25/month each |
| Mid-cycle additions | Prorated automatically for the remaining days |
A seat is an active admin or nurse account. Deactivated accounts don't consume seats.
Before you buy
An unlicensed agency sees a limited web app: the Dashboard (with a live estimate of your subscription cost based on team size) and Settings. Notes, Patients, Nurses, Records, Alerts, and Reports unlock with the license.
Purchasing
- Go to Settings in the web app.
- In the billing section, choose Purchase Subscription and License.
- Complete checkout on Stripe's secure page — Noted never sees or stores your card details.
- You're redirected back with the full app unlocked immediately.
Managing your subscription
After purchase the same section shows your billing status and a Manage Subscription button that opens the Stripe portal — update payment methods, view history, and download invoices there.

Seats follow your team automatically: approving or inviting a nurse adds a seat (prorated), deactivating one frees it. You never manage seat counts in the billing portal.
